Medical Response Training

Medical Response Training equips participants with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to provide effective care during medical emergencies. Training covers patient assessment, first aid, CPR, trauma care, and stabilization techniques, with a focus on rapid decision-making, safety, and coordination with emergency services. Participants gain confidence to act quickly and effectively in critical situations, reducing risks and improving outcomes.

Comprehensive training in life-saving procedures such as CPR (adult/child/infant), first aid, AED operation, and emergency scene management. Based on AHA or Red Cross curriculum.

Provides worksite-specific trauma response training, focusing on rapid assessment, stabilization, and lifesaving interventions before EMS arrives.

National-level certification course including trauma care, patient assessment, airway management, and initial pharmacology for first responders.

Safety Training Options

Focuses on arc flash risk, safe work practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE use. Essential for anyone working on or around energized systems.

Covers safe operation, inspection, and maintenance of ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, forklifts, and hand tools. Aligned with OSHA regulations and ANSI standards.

Teaches proper use of fall protection systems, hazard recognition, harness inspection, anchorage, fall arrest vs. restraint systems, and rescue readiness.

Teaches respirator types, fit testing, selection criteria, and safe usage in environments with airborne contaminants.

Trains personnel to monitor hazardous work conditions, communicate effectively, and intervene when necessary, during hot work or confined space operations.

Provides an overview of H₂S hazards, detection methods, PPE selection, and emergency response.

Will address safe transport, packaging, labeling, and documentation of hazardous materials per DOT standards.

A 3-day intensive course focused on improving rope mobility, edge transitions, and problem-solving in vertical environments. This class enhances your ability to perform complex maneuvers safely, supporting both rescue operations and rope access tasks.

We offer training aligned with SPRAT Level I, II, and III competencies, preparing participants for SPRAT certification exams. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on skills, safety protocols, rigging techniques, and industry best practices to meet SPRAT’s rigorous standards.

Rescue Training

BHP provides rescue training for individuals and response teams operating in hazardous and technical environments. From basic rigging to advanced high-angle rescues, our programs cover a full spectrum of skills needed to perform safe, efficient, and effective rescues. Courses follow NFPA standards and real-world response scenarios.

NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 Operations and Technician-level training. This 40-hour class builds advanced rope rescue skills including ascending, lowering, mechanical advantage systems, and victim packaging.
NFPA 1006 Chapter 7 compliant. A 40-hour course featuring hands-on entry and rescue in confined spaces with real-world props and scenarios.
Aligned with NFPA 2500 Chapter 23 and the updated NFPA 1006 standards. Teaches safe access and rescue operations on tower structures, including climbing, patient stabilization, and high-angle evacuation.
Advanced training in complex rigging systems including highlines, AHDs, load-sharing anchors, and tensioned rope systems for technical rescues.
A 3-day course focused on rope mobility, edge transitions, problem-solving, and movement on vertical systems. Ideal for improving support capabilities in rescue or rope access operations.

Disaster & Incident Management Training

Provides participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively prepare for, respond to, manage, and recover from emergencies, disasters, and critical incidents. Training covers emergency planning, risk assessment, command structures (ICS/NIMS), coordination between agencies, communication strategies, and resource management. Participants learn practical approaches to decision-making under pressure, leadership during crises, and maintaining safety while minimizing impacts.

OSHA-compliant training for hazardous waste operations and emergency response. Includes PPE, spill containment, chemical hazards, and decontamination protocols.
Prepares supervisors to lead incident response using command structure, strategic decision-making, resource coordination, and communication tools.
Teaches how to digitally manage SAR operations through mapping, resource tracking, task assignment, and incident reporting.
Provides systematic search techniques across large, disaster-affected areas. Concludes with a full-scale exercise simulating real-world SAR operations.
Comprehensive course on the first 48 hours following a disaster. Covers planning, logistics, triage, communications, and recovery coordination.
