BHP COVID-19 Update

Business Health Partners continues to remain your trusted partner for occupational health needs along the Gulf Coast.

As we consider the rapidly changing information about Coronavirus (COVID-19), BHP remains committed to actively staying up to date on the latest Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updates and suggestions. You can find the CDC recommendations on COVID-19 risk assessment, public health management, and prevention here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

Suggestions from Dr. Phillip Conner, MD include:

  • Wash hands for at least twenty seconds each time
  • Try to avoid handshaking
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces (workstation, keyboards, doorknobs)
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid sneezing into the hand. Use a tissue or bent elbow when possible.

BHP reminds business and industry employees to stay home and away from their workplace if they experience fever, prolonged dry cough or shortness of breath.

Business Health Partners has also set up mandatory screening points in front of our clinic doors. Clinic visitors will receive a short questionnaire, temperature check and the use of a complimentary handwashing station at all entrances. Additionally, BHP offers a limited quantity of self-contained handwashing stations for rent. They are ideal for areas of high volume, admin buildings, hiring centers and control rooms.

BHP is proud to be the “Partner” you rely on during times of urgency. Our team is available 24/7 to answer your questions.

Sincerely,

Bryan Hollingsworth, RN
